What is stored
The calculator saves your entries (times, breaks, rate, names you type for the printout) in your browser’s local storage, on your device only, so they are still there next time you open it. Clearing your browser data removes them. You can also press Clear times in the calculator.
What is sent
Nothing you type into the calculator is sent to us or anyone else. PDF and CSV files are created on your device. The site works offline after the first visit.
Optional emails
Only if you choose to, you can give us an email address to get a Friday reminder, join the crew plan waitlist, or have a timesheet emailed to you. Then we store:
- your email address, which list you joined, your time zone (so the reminder arrives on Friday afternoon your time) and when you agreed;
- for “Email me this timesheet”, the PDF you made, only until it is sent (at most 7 days).
New addresses get one confirmation email first; nothing else is sent until you click it. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click. We never sell or share addresses. Emails are sent through our email provider, and the list is stored on Cloudflare. To protect the forms from abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for 2 days (not the address itself), and may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that does not use tracking cookies.
Visit statistics
We may use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free statistics service (such as Plausible or GoatCounter) to count page visits and which buttons are used, for example how often PDFs are downloaded. It does not record what you type, does not use cookies and does not identify you.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. Visit statistics, if switched on, use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
Changes
If this changes, for example when optional accounts are added, this page will be updated first. Last updated 2026-11-07.
